Your work is complex.Your workspace shouldn't be.

DeclutterTech brings order to cluttered tech offices: the desks buried in gear, the cable spaghetti, the server room that quietly became a storage room. Practical organizing for people who work in technology. When the mess has grown past everyday and started to feel overwhelming, our sister site DehoardTech handles compassionate, tech-aware recovery.

Order for the spaces tech clutter takes over.

Not a junk-hauling crew. We sort, label, and set up systems for the specific mess technology creates: hardware, cables, paper, and the "I might need this" pile.

  • Desks and workstations

Clear the surface, tame the cables, and give every device, dock, and peripheral a home you can actually maintain.

  • Cables and power

Label, route, and manage the tangle behind the desk and under it. Power, network, and A/V, sorted and documented.

  • Server and storage rooms

Reclaim the room that turned into a closet. Inventory the hardware, retire the dead gear, and get the racks breathing again.

  • Gear and inventory

Catalog the good equipment that's too valuable to toss and too scattered to find. Labeled, shelved, and searchable.

  • Paper and records

Sort, archive, or shred the paperwork a busy operation leaves behind, without losing what actually matters.

  • Systems that hold

Simple, labeled systems built to survive real work. We set it up so it stays organized after we leave.

Four steps, from walkthrough to working office.

A clear sequence with an end date. You always know what's happening and what's next.

  1. Walkthrough

We tour the space, understand how you work, and find what's actually getting in the way.

  2. Plan and quote

A written plan and a fixed quote: what we sort first, what gets kept, where things will live.

  3. Sort and set up

Keep, archive, or retire, device by device. Then we build the labeled systems and put it back to work.

  4. Hand off

A quick tour of the new setup and a simple map so the order sticks after we're gone.

Your office is back to work.
Every item gets one of three tags: Keep: a labeled home Archive: cataloged, findable Retire: sold, recycled, shredded

Before and after.

Real spaces, weeks apart. Photos coming as projects wrap. Until then, here is the same desk drawn twice: as we usually find it, and as we leave it.

Before: a cluttered workstation A desk with a monitor and dock. Four cables loop and cross under the desk to a power strip lying on the floor, next to a pile of unlabeled boxes. ???
BeforeCluttered workstation
After: cabled, labeled, clear The same desk. Three cables run through a tray under the desk and down one leg as a single bundle, each with a label tape reading Power, Network, and Display. The power strip is mounted under the desk. Two labeled bins, Spares and Retire, sit where the pile was. Power Network Display Spares Retire

Questions people ask before booking.

Short answers from the knowledge base. The full list has many more.

How long does a professional cleanout take?

A single cluttered office is often one to two days; a whole property with storage and gear is a phased project over weeks. You get a written plan and a fixed timeline before anyone starts, so there are no open-ended meters running.

Do I need to be there the whole time?

No. We do a walkthrough with you up front to mark what's protected and how you work, then check in daily. You make the keep-or-toss calls that matter and skip the parts you'd rather not watch.

Is my mess too embarrassing to show anyone?

We have seen worse, and we are not here to judge a room. The point of the first call is a plan, not a reaction. The embarrassment tends to evaporate the moment someone else is helping carry it out.

Are you a junk-hauling crew?

No. We sort, label, and set up systems for the specific mess technology creates: hardware, cables, paper, and the "I might need this" pile. Dead gear gets retired and good gear gets cataloged, labeled, and shelved.

Where do I even start on my own?

Start with the surface you touch most: the desk. Clear it completely, then put back only what you use weekly. Everything else gets sorted into keep, relocate, or retire. A clear desk gives you a staging area for the rest of the room.

How do I keep it organized after the big cleanup?

Give every category one labeled home and put a five-minute reset on the calendar for end of week. Organization isn't a one-time event; it's a small habit plus good labels. If a system needs a manual, it's too complicated.
